QM 6 - "Well, nobody's perfect."

No aphorism could be more true.
Humanity is, as a species, a flawed and imperfect creation, blessed with the capacity to reason far beyond the capabilities of any animal before us and with the emotional complexity to fathom and plumb the depths of morality and ethics surrounding our behaviour. At the same time, we have yet to shed our baser, more demanding and instinctual drives, the ones that prompt us to choose selfishness over generosity, and to indulge our own pleasures before seeing to those of others.
We stand, each of us, between those two possibilities and make our choices, moment by moment, between them.
We call those who more often opt for their own interests "villains" and those who tend toward selflessness "Champions".
And then, there is the gray area.
