Gwen, if she were honest, would have agreed with Buffy that she and Wesley needed to talk. Probably past time to talk but when was Gwen ever honest. She would admit, if only to herself, that she was nervous about 'the talk'. For the first time in her life, she'd put herself out there and she was waiting for it to bite her on the ass like it always did. She'd thought that maybe, for once, it wouldn't but that was something that she wasn't going to pin her hopes on. It was easier to be surprised by good news than it was to be surprised by bad.
