1.2 - Describe, in detail, your favorite feature or part of your body.

My hands, I should think.

While I would certainly agree with Fred that the most important of all my aspects would be my intellect, I have a strong tendency to not personally associate that with the brain itself, necessarily. I have seen too many times where the physical has belied the mental, and so I cannot make that my answer.

But hands-- specifically, our human hands as they have developed, with their opposable thumbs, remarkable dexterity and surpassing sensitivity-- are what have allowed us as a species to do the great and terrible things that we have accomplished. They are the tools with which changes to the world may be affected.

While courage and resolve and intelligence may set the stage, and in many cases, win the day, it is with our hands we fight. With them we struggle and strive, we create the good we desire and seek to destroy the evil that opposes us. I have held swords and daggers, and pistols and shotguns for that matter, in these hands. They have swung an axe to behead a lover, cradled an infant in my betrayal, and held my beloved as she died.

Without my hands, even the small things I may do, I could not.

I think you've got nice hands, Wesley, only when I tend to think of them, I'm thinking more of the holding and less of the swinging an axe part.

Well... Well, I don't suppose that I could possibly argue with that sentiment. Thank you.

Your hands?!? Because of opposable thumbs?!?

But, that's lame. You can't wear jewelry on thumbs!!! And you say those are your best feature?!?

There are much more useful things to do with hands than wear jewelry, young lady.

Fine. But weapons can't be counted as a good thing, or people dying in your arms. Seriously, there are better features.

Like hair.

Hair? And exactly how would hair be useful?

DUH, the question wasn't useful, it was your favorite!!! I'm just saying your hair is better than your thumbs. Besides, we all know that a girl just has to go flip-flip, toss-toss with her hair, and guys come running.

That? Is useful!

I can't believe I'm actually engaging in this debate, but wouldn't hands be essential in all the necessary primping?

You toss you hair by flipping it! No hands needed! Duh!

I'd say your best feature would be either hair or eyes. NOT hands.

You did just completely misunderstand the point I was making, didn't you?

I don't understand what you're saying. Wait, are you trying to say that I'm dumb?!? Because I'm not!!!

I don't know you well enough to judge your intelligence, only your reading of my statement.

Which one? The one about your thumbs?

What about it? You're not making any sense.

And as I said, you are completely missing the point.

That... Ahem. You know, at this juncture, I think it might be best to just agree to disagree.
